The Schindelwald Circular Trail is approximately 7 km long. Its route through one of the region’s largest contiguous forest areas makes the forest landscape the defining feature of this loop. The Bergholz Circular Trail is approximately 4.7 km long and is a popular route for hikers, Nordic walkers and joggers. This makes it the shorter of the two circular trails. If the forest landscape is your main consideration, the Schindelwald Circular Trail is the more clearly suited option. If you place greater importance on the shorter distance or the activities mentioned, the Bergholz Circular Trail may be the better choice. Also in the wider Konstanz destination, the well-signposted, 53 km-long SeeGang premium hiking trail runs between Überlingen and Konstanz, passing through the Lake Constance district and the district of Konstanz. Compared with Mühlingen’s two circular trails, this route focuses on a longer trail connecting two cities.
