The Villa du Petit Perron is a Florentine Renaissance-style villa built in 1520 by Antoine Gondi and Marie Catherine Pierrevive. The entire estate, including its boundary walls and garden, was listed as a historic monument by decree of 25 September 2006.

Culture and history

The villa consists of three buildings arranged in a U-shape around an enclosed courtyard. A chapel was added to the south façade in 1748. The gardens are laid out on two terraces connected by a staircase; remnants of towers are a reminder of the estate’s fortifications at the end of the 16th century.

At the former Manoir du Grand-Perron, the Renaissance façade and the associated roof of the central building have been classified as a historic monument since 31 December 1979. The surviving façade and roof sections of the wings adjoining at right angles, as well as the large main staircase, have been listed as protected elements since the same date.
