Notre-Dame des Voyageurs offers panoramic views over the Geneva basin and remains a pilgrimage site. The pilgrimage takes place on the first Sunday in August each year. At the pilgrimage site, there is a statue of the Virgin and Child created in 1945 by the Lyon sculptor Lucien Gratien. In summer, the site is suitable for a shady picnic break with views of Geneva, Lake Geneva, the mountains and the plain.

The church of Vers is dedicated to Notre-Dame de la Nativité. The church and bell tower of Vers are open daily all year round and can be visited free of charge.

Hiking

The Via Romana follows an old Roman road through the Genevois. At the hamlet of Sous le Plan, at an altitude of 730 metres, it is possible to turn right from the Via Romana trail onto the GR Balcon du Léman long-distance hiking trail.

The Way of St. James passes over the heights of Vers. Vers also offers several signposted hiking trails marked by the Syndicat Intercommunal du Vuache.

Visits and Getting Around

At Savons du Léman, visitors can tour a workshop where natural, handcrafted soaps are made. A visit to Savons du Léman includes a demonstration of soap-making on site. Visitors can also cut a freshly made bar of soap there.

Lihsa bus route 13 runs from Vers towards Saint-Julien.
