Culture and History

The Church of Saint-Maurice de Montmin was rebuilt in 1848 by the architect Camille Ruphy in the neoclassical style. A statue of the Virgin Mary originally adorned the Oratoire des Sept-Fontaines in Plan de Montmin; it was removed for safety reasons.

The Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard and the Château d'Annecy, both historic castles, are located in the vicinity of Montmin. The historic sites of Abbaye Notre-Dame de Tamié and Abbaye de Sainte-Catherine du Mont de Semnoz are also nearby.
