In Messery, the Sentier « La Pointe » hiking trail begins as a 5.1-kilometre circular route. The trail runs through the forest and offers views of the lake. On the shore lies Plage Sous les Prés, a landscaped beach approximately 400 metres long. Water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding and pedal boating can be enjoyed at this beach. Plage de la Pointe is one of Messery’s designated bathing areas.

Parc des Sémiss has a forest adventure trail that is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The park also includes a picnic area with barbecue facilities. The Église Saint Pierre in Messery was built between 1839 and 1841 and is designed in the Sardinian Neoclassical style. It is located between the centre of Messery and the village of Veret.
