Duingt: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Duingt can be described through its lakeshore, historical traces, and paths through the village and countryside. Mont Taillefer offers two viewpoints over the waters of the large and small basins of Lake Annecy. The first viewpoint on Taillefer can be reached after a 15-minute walk at the Grotte Notre-Dame du Lac.

Nature and lake
Duingt’s municipal beach is a grassy, partly shaded lakeside beach opposite Châteauvieux. Toilets and refreshments are available on site. A cycle path runs near this municipal beach.
The circular hiking route on Taillefer starts in Duingt and leads to the former Bredannaz quarry and its elevated viewpoint.
Culture and history
The remains of prehistoric pile dwellings’ posts have been preserved on Roselet Island. Châteauvieux was built on an island around the 11th or 12th century and is closed to the public.
The narrow streets of Duingt’s old village lead to a viewpoint at the Grotte Notre-Dame du Lac. Héré Château is a Renaissance-era château visible on the ascent to Entrevernes.
Paths through Duingt
The Duingt–Saint-Jorioz hiking route is 12 kilometres long, very easy, and starts in Duingt.
The “Duingt out of sight” route is a 3.7-kilometre, very easy walking route that starts in Duingt. It leads through the narrow streets of Duingt’s old village and through the picturesque hamlet of Dhéré. It can be reached via bus lines 15A, 15B, and Y51, with the Duingt Church stop.
Cycling and exercise
Duingt’s pump track is an enclosed course for mountain bikes, BMX bikes, scooters, skates, and roller skates; there are two tracks.
The cycling loop around Lake Annecy passes the Duingt Tunnel and follows a greenway built along a former railway line.
