The Bernex Bike Park has prepared trails ranging from green to black, as well as a jump zone.
The Ranch équestre de Bernex offers horse or pony rides all year round, as well as guided pony walks for younger children; reservations are required.
Nature
The Boucle du lac de la Case d’Oche hike starts at the de la Fétiuère car park in the municipality of Bernex and leads to two mountain lakes.
The family-friendly yet somewhat sporty Tour du Mont Bénand hike passes through pastures and villages and offers views of the Mémises, Mont César, Dent d’Oche and Lac Léman.
The circular trail Chalets en alpage offers insights into life on Bernex’s Alpine pastures. The buildings in Malpasset, La Tailla, Le Tirou and La Bonne Eau have changed little since they were built around 100 years ago.

Culture and History
The Église Saint-Ours in Bernex was built between 1848 and 1851 in a purely Italian style of the 1850s, reminiscent of Tuscan basilicas.
The Circuit des chapelles is an easy, freely accessible hiking trail through Bernex’s religious heritage.
After the church and presbytery were plundered by the Waldensians, the inhabitants of Bernex set fire to their camp, earning themselves the nickname “Bourla-Kam”, meaning “camp burners”.
Local Traditions and Getting There
The Distillerie de la Dent d’Oche maintains a tradition of itinerant distillers that has existed for 100 years across four generations. Selected fruits are distilled using an old distillation method. By appointment, the distillery offers guided tours explaining the individual steps involved in producing its fruit specialities.
Bernex can be reached from Évian by taxi or shuttle in around 15 minutes.
