Roussas: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Culture and History

The Oppidum du Moulon is an important archaeological site in the region. The site covers more than 20 hectares and features a complex system of five concentric defensive rings.

The former Saint-Germain castle chapel remained the only church in Roussas until 1867. The chapel and the remains of the former castle were listed as historic monuments by decree of 17 July 1926.

Activities and Trails

Vert'Tige Aventure offers a 350-metre-long, 50-metre-high mega zip line. Quad'Else offers quad bike excursions departing from Roussas. Depending on the type of excursion, the routes may lead along forest tracks, past lavender fields and through vineyards.

A small path leading from the village takes you on foot to the Saint-Joseph Sanctuary. The sanctuary grounds are accessible year-round; however, access to the interior is restricted to certain events or celebrations. A rare pneumatic organ can be admired inside the sanctuary.

Roussas has a botanical trail featuring plantings of new rose varieties and Mediterranean plants.

At Domaine de Grangeneuve in Roussas, the cellar offers tastings of wines from the Rhône Valley. By prior reservation, Domaine de Grangeneuve offers food and wine tastings centered around truffles.

The offerings also include vineyard walks by prior reservation, either self-guided or accompanied by a commentary.
