Mérindol-Les-Oliviers: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The old village of Mérindol-les-Oliviers is situated high on the southern slope of La Loubatière. Culture and crafts

Notre-Dame de Porporières was a former Benedictine priory and has been protected as a historic monument since 5 December 2000. On the south exterior wall there is a canonical sundial, described as the only one of its kind in the region.

Mérindol-les-Oliviers is home to La Forge du Ventoux, a craft workshop that creates unique, handcrafted works from wrought iron and wood. La Forge du Ventoux is open year-round from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., by appointment. The Le Petit Drômois soap factory is also located in the old village of Mérindol-les-Oliviers. The local Le Petit Drômois shop offers locally produced goods and other regional specialities.

Hiking and horse riding are recommended in Mérindol-les-Oliviers.

The “Abricots et vignes” cycling route is a 64.31-kilometre loop. It leads towards Mérindol-les-Oliviers and then back to Buis-les-Baronnies via Propiac.
