Culture and history

In the heart of Étoile-sur-Rhône lies the Domaine des Clévos, a historic site and significant cultural heritage site. It includes a 4.5-hectare wooded park, also located in the heart of Étoile-sur-Rhône. While the site's cultural purpose is preserved, rooms continue to be rented there. La mesure à grains is the only surviving witness to the former market hall. The openings carved into a block of stone correspond in Étoile to a setier of 73.06 litres, an eymine as half a setier, and a quarte as a quarter of a setier.

The Station d'Etoile is a living testimony to the heyday of the Nationale 7 and the golden age of the automobile. The Musée des amis de la Station d'Etoile displays memorabilia from old petrol stations, including enamel signs, oil cans, historic petrol pumps, contemporary advertising posters and petrol station attendants' uniforms. The museum is connected with automotive history, as the Station d'Etoile has been classified as a site of automotive history by the Fédération française des véhicules d'époque.

The Lez’arts Galerie presents works by local artists and emerging young artists in cultural exhibitions. Every month, it holds exhibitions featuring artists from the region.

Nature and trails

The Parc du château is an approximately 2,000 m² municipal park overlooking the village and the Rhône Valley. The Parcours du patrimoine d’Étoile-sur-Rhône is a themed walking route through Étoile-sur-Rhône.

ViaRhôna Stage 14 runs between Valence and Le Pouzin through Étoile-sur-Rhône. The 33-kilometre, easy cycling route has 236 metres of elevation gain; its stated duration is 2 hours and 12 minutes, and it is accessible daily all year round.

Events and leisure

At Agrifête 2026, bread will be made on site and baked the traditional way in a wood-fired oven. Etoile Park 26 has a 450 m² beach sports area for football, volleyball, rugby, tennis and pétanque, as well as a guinguette offering food, a bar, evening events, hammocks and a beach.
