Mézilhac is part of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park.

Hiking and cycling

From the Table d’orientation de Mézilhac on the Ardèche plateau, there are views of the Sucs of Gerbier, Mézenc and Montivernoux, as well as as far as the Alps.

The Table d’orientation de Mézilhac is open daily from 1 January to 31 December 2026 and can be accessed free of charge.

The “Entre Montagne et Boutières” hike starts in Mézilhac at the INFO-RANDO information board next to the wash fountain on the main road.

The “Entre Montagne et Boutières” route follows the path from Saint-Brint along pastures and then descends in hairpin bends beneath the trees.

Le Coudoulet rents out donkeys for half-day, full-day or multi-day hikes.

A donkey hike at Le Coudoulet can be combined with a visit to the farm.

The “Boucle cyclo des quatre cols” cycling loop starts in Mézilhac and follows small roads with little traffic and beautiful viewpoints.

Local area

The 2026 market programme lists stalls from local producers and craftspeople selling wild blueberries from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: jams, jellies, juices, drinks, pastries, terrines, dairy products, ice cream and sorbets.

The blueberry producer Bernadette Teyssier in Prélamothe in Mézilhac sells blueberries directly to retail customers in any quantity; sales are open daily in August and September.

The Marché de la Myrtille Sauvage d'Ardèche is a culinary festival held every first Saturday in August in Mézilhac, in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park.
