At the Cirque de Gens, there are 350 equipped climbing routes along the entire length of the 700-meter-long cirque. Spectacular views from the heights, a stay on a sandy beach, hiking, canoeing at the foot of the cliffs, and climbing are also possible there.

Nature
Since 1994, the Cirque de Gens has been designated as an APPB biotope protection area. Chauzon is located in the Natura 2000 area “Moyenne vallée de l’Ardèche, pelouses du plateau des gras”.
Twenty-five European pond turtles have been recorded in Chauzon; the species is protected.
The summit Sommet de Sigaud, the Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave, the Grotte du Château d'Ebbo cave, and the Dent de Rez summit are located in the vicinity of Chauzon.
Hiking and Landscape
There are numerous hiking trails in the vicinity of Chauzon. The Chauzon et le plateau des Grads route begins at the parking area at the entrance to Chauzon when coming from Pradons. It leads through limestone slabs, forests, and garrigue and offers views of the Cévennes and the Ardèche Valley. The route also includes a path to the Belvédère des Aulagniers viewpoint, with a remarkable view of the Ardèche.
History and Culture
In the wider regional surroundings of Chauzon are the ancient site of Alba-la-Romaine (Ardèche, France), the Site archéologique d'Alba-la-Romaine archaeological site, the Château de la Roche ruins, and the Ruins de Mailhac ruins.
