Francheleins: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Francheleins reaches far back into history with the Château de Tavernost: the first structure dates from 1285 and remained a fortified house until the 15th century. The Château de Tavernost is located in the territory of the former municipality of Cesseins, which is now part of Francheleins.

Culture and history

The Church of Saint Martin also bears witness to a structural change: it was built in the second half of the 19th century in place of a Romanesque building that had become too small for the parish of Amareins, Cesseins and Francheleins. Its architecture is neoclassical.

The Chapelle d'Amareins is a stone chapel from the 11th century. Since 1969, it has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments and is freely accessible every day throughout the year.

Renting a holiday apartment in Francheleins is an independent part of personal travel planning.
