Culture and History
The restored Chapelle Saint-Michel stands in Ardon. It is located in the heart of the hamlet of Ardon and is part of the cultural heritage of the Pays bellegardien that is well worth discovering.
At the beginning of the path of the Arboretum d’Ardon stand century-old trees planted by schoolchildren to raise money for their school.
The site of a former quarry in Ardon bears witness to the work of the hamlet’s stonemasons. The particularly hard stone blocks from the quarries of Ardon were worked by hand by local villagers and then transported on horse-drawn trailers.
