La Mole: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Castrum de Sainte Magdeleine, the former medieval village of La Mole, was built in the 14th century from local basalt, a volcanic rock. For more than 20 years, the three-day Fête de la Sainte Magdeleine festival has taken place. It includes a Sunday mass, a procession, and the danse de la Souche with musicians and dancers in typical Provençal costumes. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry spent holidays there with his grandparents during his childhood.

The starting point is 2.5 km from the church along the Route des Guiols; sections of 150 m and 500 m then continue from there. The return route to the town center runs via the Piste du Laïré.

Access to the Barrage de La Verne involves a 2.5 km dirt road that is walked after parking near the waterworks. The paths along the Barrage de La Verne are used for walks.

The Base nature at the Verne offers a fitness trail with various sports equipment, a roller-skating and skateboard track, a children’s playground, and a picnic area.

Getting There

The Aéroport international du Golfe de Saint-Tropez accommodates and handles airplanes and helicopters year-round for private or commercial flights.
