The Chapelle Saint-Donat is a pilgrimage and place of devotion with votive offerings; festive events and pilgrimages have been documented there since 1517.

The cemetery contains the graves of Christian Dior (1905–1957) and Catherine Dior (1917–2008); Catherine Dior became a producer of fragrant flowers in Callian.

In the immediate vicinity of Callian, Lac de Saint-Cassien offers opportunities for swimming, pedal boating, canoeing, boat trips, and fishing. The surroundings of Callian include the Ubac de Bliauge summit, the Pic de la Gardiette summit, Montagne de Thiey mountain, and Cornet summit.
