Les Baux-de-Provence is designated as a heritage site and has been named one of the most beautiful villages in France, among other distinctions. The Château des Baux-de-Provence covers five hectares and is entirely classified as a Monument historique. At the Carrières des Lumières, images are projected using around 100 video projectors onto more than 7,000 m² and accompanied by music.
