Nature and Trails

The Parc sportif du Devens offers a sports and leisure area in a protected natural setting, with views of the Mediterranean.

The Forêt de Grima offers a walk through a green landscape in the hills above Beausoleil, with remarkable flora and fauna as well as a rock face and caves.

The circular trail on Mont des Mules leads to an orientation table with panoramic views of the Mediterranean coast.

Culture and History

The Riviera Palace is a former hotel built between 1898 and 1903 and listed as a historic monument since 1989. The magnificent winter garden is the centrepiece of the tour.

The Sanctuaire Saint-Joseph is a Neo-Romanesque church. Construction began in 1913 and it was consecrated in 1923; it is the only sanctuary dedicated to Saint Joseph in the Alpes-Maritimes département.

The route on Mont des Mules leads to the remains of an oppidum built by Celto-Ligurian populations, which was classified as a historic monument in 1939. The trail begins in Beausoleil, goes around the site and returns to Beausoleil on foot along the same route.

Villa Juturne is listed as a Belle Époque building in the Monuments Historiques and features numerous decorations painted by its owner, the painter Patrizio Rogolini.

The Foyer du Poilu is a historic site dedicated to the memories of the two World Wars and the Algerian War.

Local Life

The Marché couvert Gustave Eiffel is a market open daily for local artisanal products, including cheese, cured meats, honey, exotic fruit and organic products.

Geographical Setting

The Via Julia Augusta passes through Beausoleil and forms part of its present-day route along the narrow coastal strip of the Menton, Riviera & Merveilles destination, which stretches across four municipalities: La Turbie, Beausoleil, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Menton.
