Culture
The Château de Bourg-Archambault was built in several construction phases dating from the 13th century, the late 15th century, the 16th century and the 19th century. Its grounds include towers with machicolations, broad moats and a fortified gateway flanked by towers.
The Église Saint-Laurent also features distinctive architectural elements: its first bay supports the square bell tower; the church also has a ribbed vault and pointed arches. The portal and the western first bay of the Église Saint-Laurent were partially listed as historic monuments on 28 June 1937.

Bourg-Archambault is part of the Vallée de Salleron Natura 2000 site (FR5400467). This area covers a large part of the course of the Salleron, a tributary of the Anglin, as well as its smaller tributaries.
The Vallée de Salleron is of community importance due to a dense and stable population of brook lampreys.

La Bujade Aux Fées / Boucle 7 is an 8.7-kilometre circular hiking trail in Bourg-Archambault. The Boucle des trois rivières – Variante du GR 48 also passes through the municipality.
The municipal fishing pond, Étang de pêche communal, is located 500 metres from the centre of Bourg-Archambault in the direction of Brigueil-le-Chantre. There are picnic tables at the Étang de pêche communal. Please contact the municipality for a fishing permit.
