Bignoux is directly adjacent to the Forêt domaniale de Moulière. The forest is considered an area with numerous natural spaces and trails. Around 50 percent of the municipality is forested: 715 hectares in total are covered by forest, of which 289 hectares belong to the Forêt de Moulière.

Things to do
Route 34A, “La cloche perdue”, passes through Bignoux and is 10 to 15 kilometres long. The route is estimated to take 1 to 2 hours by mountain bike and 2 to 3 hours on foot.
The Xtrem Nature Paintball Club offers paintball in Bignoux every Saturday and Sunday of the year; during the week, the activity is available by prior reservation. The site is located in a one-hectare forest and is equipped with wooden modules. When weather conditions are suitable, Esprit Archerie in Bignoux also offers outdoor field archery and 3D archery.
Culture and history
The medieval church of Saint-Hilaire in Bignoux was destroyed during the French Revolution. The present building dates from the last quarter of the 19th century. In the present building, the portal bell tower is the only part made of dressed stone blocks; all other elevations consist of rendered rubble masonry.
Bignoux’s listed historic buildings include the Manoir de la Grande Foye, which dates back to the 13th century, and the Logis de Château Fromage, whose origins date back to the 11th century.
Local life
The Témoignage et transmission du patrimoine bignolais association organises an exhibition on local life every year. The collected documents can be viewed in the local heritage room. On 11 November each year, the same association also organises a Poule-au-Pot meal run by volunteers.
