Nature and Trails
In Saint-Aigulin, the hiking trails known as “Les sentiers de découverte de Saint-Aigulin” comprise three routes covering a total of more than 35 km. As interpretation trails, they are marked with educational information panels and introduce visitors to the European mink and the European pond turtle.
After following a grassy path, the “Coteaux de la Dronne” circular hiking trail leads into the forest.

Water and Events
The Théâtre de Verdure is a natural venue on the banks of the Dronne, with an open-air stage, an esplanade and terraces. Especially at the beginning of the warm season, it hosts numerous festive, sporting and cultural events.
The municipal swimming pool in Saint-Aigulin has a paddling pool, a water slide, a beach volleyball court and landscaped sunbathing areas. Swimming lessons are offered there between June and August.
Culture and History
The origins of the Église Saint-Fort date back to the 12th century. The Théâtre Tony Poncet is named after a French tenor who was born in France, had roots in Spain and was buried in Saint-Aigulin in 1979.
The wider region around Saint-Aigulin is home to the Abbye Notre-Dame de Bonne Esperance monastery, the historic abbaye Notre-Dame de la Faise site and the Église Saint-Nicolas-de-Peudry church.
