Culture and History
Northeast of today’s Sainte-Trinité Church in Loulay stood a first Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. The present Sainte-Trinité Church was rebuilt after the municipality decided in 1857 to replace the dilapidated first church. On its southwest façade, the church has a portal with two archivolts, surmounted by an archivolt decorated with sawtooth ornamentation.
