Coast

The Port du Plomb is a typical oyster harbour with whitewashed houses. L'Houmeau shares it with the neighbouring municipality of Nieul-sur-Mer via a wooden footbridge. A coastal path leads from the Port du Plomb to L'Houmeau beach between limestone cliffs and hidden coves, with views of Île de Ré along the way. Seafood can be sampled in the huts near the Port du Plomb.

Plage de Pampin lies in the Anse de Pampin, opposite Île de Ré. It is suitable for walks.
