Culture

The interior of the Église Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption has three naves as well as two religious paintings depicting the Flight into Egypt and the Temptation of Jesus.

The Chapelle Saint-Louis de Révignac dates back approximately to the 11th century and is built from Grison and rubble stone.

Nature

The Cluzenne flows into the Palais in the municipality of Le Fouilloux. The Le Fouilloux arboretum was created by pupils from the local primary school and displays deciduous and coniferous trees from the region.

In the Vallées du Lary et du Palais Natura 2000 site, the protected landscape comprises six habitats of Community interest; 22 animal species listed under Annex II of the Habitats Directive are also recorded there.

At Kaolune, the Carrière Saint-Georges, guided visits for groups of 10 or more can be organised throughout the year by reservation. The viewing platform there is accessible free of charge all year round and is equipped with a landscape interpretation panel. In July and August, self-guided or commented visits are possible.
