Aytré: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The “Le Marais de Tasdon, l’héritage des Salines” discovery trail is 5 kilometres long and leads through the Marais de Tasdon-La Moulinette.

Culture and History

After several months of work, the Église Saint-Étienne was reopened on 5 and 6 December 2025.

The Gallo-Roman villa of Bongraine was in operation from the 1st to the 5th century AD.

Le Cheval d’Aytré is a work by sculptor Christian Renonciat dating from 1989.

Regional Tradition

Near Plage du Platin, visitors can sample oysters in oyster farmers’ huts along the Chemin de la Gigas; the oyster farmers preserve the Charente tradition of oyster farming.
