Drucat: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Drucat is part of the Baie de Somme – Maritime Picardy Regional Nature Park and lies around 15 kilometres east of the Baie de Somme. A river winds its way through the lower part of the village for 6 kilometres.

History and Culture

The former airfield at Le Plessiel was built in 1922. Its important role during the Second World War is reflected in German remnants such as runways, hangar foundations and bunkers. They are located in various woods or on private property.

At former farmsteads, some Picardy longhouses, known as longères, and wells can still be discovered in Drucat.

Routes and Events

Drucat has a 20-kilometre hiking route called “Promenons nous à Drucat”. It leads towards Le Titre; along the way, it passes large residential buildings in Le Plessiel, Neuilly-l'Hôpital and Canchy.

The La Cromagnon races and walk start at the Salle des fêtes Lesueur in Drucat. The programme on Sunday, 30 August 2026, includes the 15.8-kilometre La Cromagnon race and the 8-kilometre Mini-Cro race.

The Abbaye de Notre Dame de Willencourt is located in the immediate vicinity of Drucat. The Abbaye de Saint-Riquier, the historic Abbaye Notre-Dame de Forest-Montiers site and the Collégiale Saint-Vulfran church are also located nearby.
