The settlement of Vue, built on an island, was surrounded in Gallo-Roman times by a fortification known as "Murus gallicus", which was 9 metres wide and 3 metres high. The Tenu River crosses Vue from south to north and reaches the Canal de la Martinière via the marshes.

Culture and History
The Church of Sainte-Anne is an active place of worship and an important architectural and historical heritage site in the municipality of Vue. Religious celebrations and cultural events are held there regularly. The dovecote of La Blanchardais was built in the 14th century and could accommodate around 2,600 pigeons.
The La Blanchardais estate is privately owned and is open for visits only during the European Heritage Days in September. The Sainte-Anne spring is freely accessible to the public at the end of the long avenue of thuja trees. The former Merovingian cemetery has been landscaped as a green space with a granite Calvary.

The Moulin de la Barre dates from 1830. Between Prépaud and La Roulais are the remains of a watermill dating from the 17th century.
