Dancé: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Nobles Logis circular trail begins and ends in Dancé. It is an easy, 16 km circular hiking trail with a stated duration of four hours and can also be travelled by mountain bike or touring bicycle.
Nature
The Nobles Logis circular trail runs along the wall of the Château de la Beuvrière. It also includes the picturesque lime-tree avenue of La Mancellière. The Place de l'église is the recommended car park for the circular trail.
A discreet visit to the grounds of the Manoir de la Revaudière is permitted via a 1.5 km out-and-back route from the circular trail. The circular trail also leads towards Biaville, where the buildings are characterised as traditionally Percheron.
Culture and History
The Église de Dancé was listed as a historic monument by decree of 29 November 1948. The Manoir du Plessis was also listed as a historic monument by decree of 12 November 1990.
The Église Saint-Jouin in the former commune of Dancé contains fragments of a seigneurial mural painting from the 17th century on the north wall of the nave. These fragments were protected as an object on 28 January 1986.
The grounds of the Manoir du Plessis can be visited freely; a written request is required for the interior. The Manoir du Plessis was built at the centre of a 900-hectare fortified fief documented in 1250.
