The Forêt domaniale des Andaines also surrounds Bagnoles-de-l'Orne. There are around 250 kilometres of hiking trails around the spa town, which can be explored on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike.
The Tour de Saint Michel is a forest loop that begins at Carrefour de Gué Chalandray in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne. The route is approximately 11.6 kilometres long and runs almost entirely through the forest along former paths and forest roads. Along the way, it passes Étang de la Forge, Chapelle des Prises and the former quarry at Étang de la Brisette.
Activities
Vélo Rails des Andaines is a 7-kilometre ride along the former Bagnoles-de-l'Orne–La Ferté Macé railway line, with very little gradient. The route passes through the area around Prieuré St Ortaire and through the Forêt des Andaines.
The Station Outdoor Domfront Bagnoles offers 19 signposted trail routes and three training courses for trail running, Nordic walking, gravel cycling and mountain biking.
The Parcours découverte is a 5.6-kilometre route where visitors can discover Bagnoles-de-l'Orne and its attractions in a playful way. It includes around 20 stops around the municipality's key buildings and urban and natural areas.
The Base de loisirs de Bagnoles de l'Orne offers pedal boats and a mini-golf course near the casino. Activities are available at Lac de Bagnoles in summer, including pedal-boat hire.

Jardin Retiré is a 2,500 m² botanical garden with hundreds of varieties of flowers, trees and shrubs and has held the Jardin Remarquable label since 2020.
A guided tour of the grounds of Château de la Roche-Bagnoles provides an opportunity to discover the history of the Goupil family.
