The commemorative plaque “Plaque 83rd US Infantry Division à Sainteny” is located on the façade of the town hall at 2 place Saint-Pierre. It commemorates the soldiers of the 331st Infantry Regiment who fought in Sainteny in July 1944 and was inaugurated on 3 June 1979.
The commemorative stele “Stèle 83rd & 4th US Infantry Divisions” documents the contribution of the 83rd and 4th Infantry Divisions to breaking through German resistance and continuing the liberation of France. It commemorates the liberation of Sainteny after several days of heavy fighting.
