La Bloutière: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In La Bloutière, the statue of Saint Augustine is located on the south side of the nave of the Église Notre-Dame. The church dates from the 15th to the 17th century; its triumphal arch appears to date from an earlier period.

Inside, the reredos of the former southern altar has two twisted columns, an entablature, and a pediment. This pediment contains a circular bas-relief depicting the dove of the Holy Spirit. The 17th- or 18th-century statue of Saint Augustine is listed as a protected object. La Bloutière is also home to a 17th- or 19th-century granite calvary and a 15th-century polychrome statue of Sainte Venisse.

La Bloutière had watermills for grain, oil, tanning bark, and paper. An old mourning yew stands beside the Église Notre-Dame.
