Construction of the Saint-Joseph church began in 1858 and was completed in 1892. It was designed as a Neo-Gothic architectural ensemble. A stained-glass window depicts Saint Joseph with Popes Pius IX and Leo XIII.

Behind the local shop in Saint-Joseph there is a picnic area. A play area for younger children is located next to it.

Routes

The Les Tourelleries route passes through Saint-Joseph and along the municipalities of Brix and Tamerville. It follows paths that were once covered by the trees of the extensive forest of Brix.

The Les bois valognais gravel loop also passes through Saint-Joseph. It is signposted with mountain biking and gravel markers, including marker number 51, and the gravel route is 19.2 kilometres long.

Food and Drink

At the Cidrerie de la Brique, visitors can learn about the expertise involved in production and taste the products made there. Since 1953, the cidery has produced Normandy cider using traditional artisanal methods, with the protected geographical indication IGP. It uses apples from the orchards of Cotentin and produces the cider as 100% direct juice, without pasteurisation or added sugar.

Landscape

The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Gloire stands on the right bank of the river formerly known as La Rille and is hidden away in the countryside. By the 19th century, the chapel had acquired the furnishings and characteristics of a parish church.
