Culture and History
The Église Saint-Malo in Canville-la-Rocque was built at the end of the 15th or the beginning of the 16th century. The church contains a statue of John the Baptist on the east wall of the north chapel, a sculpture from the 16th century. In addition, the wall paintings in the Église Saint-Malo depict the legend of the “Pendu Dépendu”, which tells the fate of three German pilgrims on the Way of St. James.
The Château d’Olonde is a protected castle complex in Canville-la-Rocque.
