The Château de Gaillon has been open to visitors since 2011. It is considered the first Renaissance-style château in France. At the same time, it incorporates its former use as a prison and honours its unique prison heritage in France.

Getting there
Gaillon can be reached from Paris or Rouen via the A13 motorway, exit no. 17. Gaillon is served by the SNCF station Gaillon-Aubevoye.
