Vaudeloges belongs to the landscape unit “Paysages de campagnes découvertes”. It is characterized by the contrast between wooded valleys or valleys bordered by hedges and wide-open horizons. Culture and history

The openings in the west façade and the choir of the Église Saint Leu - Vaudeloges (Réveillon) may date from the early 14th century. Its interior features a wooden vault. In addition, remains of wall frescoes have been preserved, which may date from the 13th century or possibly from an even earlier century.

The Église de la Nativité de Notre-Dame de Vaudeloges was probably built in the 12th century and features significant Romanesque fishbone masonry. Its oldest entrance is on the south side, towards the choir, and has a lintel decorated with stars.

The signposted hiking route “Le lavoir de Vaudeloges” is 2.5 km long.

Surroundings

The Château de Beaumais, Château de Carel and Château de Fontaine-les-Bassets castles are located near Vaudeloges. The Abbaye de Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives is also nearby.

South of Vaudeloges lies the hamlet of Abbeville, which can be reached via the D39. The Église Notre-Dame d’Abbeville dates from the 13th century. Only ruins of the Château de Vaudeloges remain.
