The Croix du Mesnil-Sauvage in Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau has been listed as a protected historic monument since 4 October 1932.
The Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church in Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau houses a baptismal font dating from the 15th or 16th century, which is listed as protected movable cultural heritage. The church also contains a three-part altarpiece, classified as a protected object, dating from the second half of the 18th century. The furnishings also include a polychrome stone statue entitled Christ de pitié from the last quarter of the 15th century, a polychrome stone statue of Saint Anthony from the 15th or 16th century, and a holy water stoup from the 15th or 16th century.
Pilgrimage
The Grotte de Bion is a pilgrimage site in Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau. It was built in 1932, modelled on the Grotto of Lourdes. A chapel was built above the grotto in 1946; today, the main pilgrimage takes place on the Feast of the Assumption, 15 August.
