The Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives was founded in the 11th century. The abbey comprises its abbey church, cloister courtyard and convent buildings with a preserved chapter house, and is considered one of the most complete ensembles of monastic architecture in Normandy.
The medieval market hall of Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives was built on the initiative of the monks of the abbey between the 11th and 16th centuries.
In the immediate vicinity of Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives are Château de Carel, a château, and Abbaye de Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives, a monastery. The surrounding area also includes Château de Canon, a château, as well as Château du Mont-à -la-Vigne, also a château.

The Conservatoire Garden of Flowers and Vegetables of the Pays d’Auge tells the story of almost 500 plants once cultivated in the Pays d’Auge. These include forgotten vegetable varieties, rare flowers and shrubs, as well as medicinal, veterinary and magical plants.
