Culture and History
The Église Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais in Mittois has been fully protected since July 19, 1926. The Église Saint-Gervais & Saint-Protais has a Romanesque choir from the 12th century and a Gothic nave from the 13th century. The exterior sculptures of the choir depict the heads of domestic animals, including cats, horses, and pigs, as well as grotesque human heads. The choir also contains two recently installed stained-glass windows by local glass artist Florent Chaboissier: one depicts the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, while the other depicts John the Baptist.
The industrial Buquet cheese dairy is also part of Mittois's architectural and economic history. It was built in 1925 for Alexandre Buquet. In 1972, it collected five million liters of milk and produced 2,200,000 unpasteurized Camemberts, which were sold in France and Belgium. The Buquet industrial cheese dairy ceased operations in 1982.

Hiking
The “Entre campagne et bois autour de Boissey” hiking route is 10.22 km long and has an average duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes. It is classified as moderately difficult, returns to the starting point, and reaches the Église de Mittois at kilometer 6.
History
The Manoir de Mithois consists of a residential building surrounded by moats. It includes a projecting square tower, which presumably contains the staircase.
The Bois de Queverue contains two enclosures that were historically considered Roman. The square camp of Quévrue is considered to be still well preserved, although some of its ditches have been partially filled in.
Landscape
The Queverue Plateau offers views over the valleys of the Pays d'Auge and the plains of Caen and Falaise. The Bois de Queverue lies entirely within the territory of Mithois.
