Culture and History
The Pressoir du château was built in the first half of the 17th century. The building of the Pressoir du château, together with its equipment, was listed as a historic monument by decree of 26 August 1986. The ground floor contains an apple-turning device, a press with a long pressing arm, and a cellar.
The painting “Adoration of the Magi” was restored in 1980 and listed as a protected object on 16 June 2016.
The Manoir de Magny-le-Freule is open to visitors; the listed apple-press cellar and the mill dating from the 13th century are accessible.
The Église Saint Germain in Magny-le-Freule is built of Caen stone and features a transitional style between the pure Romanesque and early Gothic styles. Its main façade is designed as a bell-tower porch and flanked by buttresses. The church also has an inverted boat-hull vault with exposed beams.

La butte de Canon is an 8-kilometre circular route that can be walked, starting in Magny-le-Freule. It begins at the church in Magny-le-Freule and is marked with yellow waymarkers. The route follows a wide path through a wooded area.
