Le Mesnil-Mauger: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture

At the Église Sainte-Marie-aux-Anglais, the nave dates from 1145 and the choir from around 1220. The church is an example of typically Norman Romanesque architecture. Its medieval fresco ensemble is probably the largest surviving painted area of its time still visible in Normandy.

The nave of the Église Saint-Pierre d'Ecajeul is partly Romanesque and preserves traces of herringbone masonry. The Chapelle Saint-Maclou has a Romanesque portal with sculpted capitals, as well as stained-glass windows by Jacques Grüber. A very old yew tree has stood beside the chapel for 900 years. The Église Saint-Etienne stands on the banks of the Viette.
