Valhuon: The most notable feature of the Saint-Omer church is its tall square bell tower made of dressed stone. Moulded cornices divide the tower into six levels; four diagonal buttresses flank it, and it is topped with pinnacles. In its upper section, there are two windows on each side. A small pentagonal stone staircase tower is attached to the tower, and gargoyles shaped like animals can be seen at the top.

The Ultra Marche du Ternois is a non-competitive hiking event held at an unregulated pace. It will take place on Saturday, 27 March 2027, in Valhuon and is organised by the Sur les Traces de David association. In Valhuon, the STD Festival forms the renewed after-sport area of the Ultra Marche and offers all participants live concerts and live music.
Les Courants d’Air is a club for running, hiking and Nordic walking. The club’s Sunday outings start on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. at the Salle du Rietz. Also there, Folk Ambiance offers introductions to historical and folkloric dances on the first Thursday of each month from September to June, except on public holidays, from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Le Trèfle du Diable is a non-timed hike for trail runners and hikers, organised by Les Courants d’Air since 2025, with distances ranging from 10 to 45 km.

The Abbaye de Belval monastery is located in the vicinity of Valhuon. The historic Abbaye Notre-Dame de Cercamp site and the Abbaye Saint Benoît de Ham-en-Artois monastery are located in the wider region surrounding Valhuon. Trails and Landscape
The Sentier le Moulin Blanc hiking trail runs through the plain and is characterised by a diverse architectural heritage. The Abbaye de Belval depuis Valhuon route starts at Valhuon’s community hall and initially leads through the plains to Brias.
