Culture
The Church of Saint-Vaast was built between 1537 and 1550 in the 16th century from stone in the Flamboyant Gothic style. Its choir has a ribbed vault dating from the 15th century.
The Chapel of Saint Hubert was built in 1666 by the Decroix family, the leaseholders of the Lebiez estate. The reason was the tradition that a child bitten by a rabid dog at this location was miraculously healed through the intercession of Saint Hubert. The Chapel of Notre-Dame des Sept Douleurs commemorates the difficulties that Louis XIII and Anne of Austria experienced in conceiving an heir to the throne.
Among the village’s places of interest is the school of the French Third Republic. Lebiez also has traditional farmhouses with clay half-timbering or clay infill.
