Plage de Stella is a several-kilometre-long beach with fine sand. Around Stella-Plage, the destinations described range from activities on the beach and paths through the dune area to historic sites in the surrounding area.
Beach and Water
At Stella-Plage beach, the Club de plage offers playful and sporting activities for children aged 3 to 14. The Club de plage also offers canoe, kayak and stand-up paddleboard hire.
In July and August, the École de Natation offers children and adults swimming lessons in a covered swimming pool heated to 30°C, either to learn to swim or to improve their swimming technique. The lessons are led by a state-certified swimming instructor.

Dune Paths and Nature
The Sentier des dunes is a 10 km circular hiking trail through the dune area of Stella-Plage. The trail passes through ground consisting of earth, sand and dunes. On the Sentier des dunes, visitors can discover dog roses, wildlife, sea holly and Curtis's violets.
The Sentier des violettes is a 2.2 km moderately difficult hiking trail starting in Stella-Plage. In the dune area along the Sentier des violettes, year-round grazing by Chèvres des Fossés and Shetland sheep contributes to the protection of biodiversity.

Old villas and the development from an uninhabited belt of dunes into a seaside resort designed according to an ideal plan at the beginning of the 20th century shape the history of Stella-Plage.
