The Marais de Roussent is a former peat extraction area with a viewpoint overlooking landscapes typical of alkaline fens.
The area, covering more than 70 hectares, is a Natura 2000 site crossed by the Rue des Étangs, which connects Pas-de-Calais and the Somme. It can be explored from various perspectives: history, landscape development, fauna, flora and the peatland habitats preserved through the European LIFE Anthropofens programme.

Culture and History
The Church of Saint Riquier in Roussent dates from 1842. It houses a wooden statue of Saint Riquier dating from the 15th century.
The historic site of Abbaye de Valloires is located in the vicinity of Roussent. The historic site of Abbaye Notre-Dame de Forest-Montiers is also located near Roussent. The former monastery of Saint-Josse-sur-Mer is likewise nearby.
