Hiking

An out-and-back hike on the Tour du Ternois Sud leads from Rollancourt via Blingel. The Sentier des Vallons hiking trail leads to Blingel. On the Sentier des Vallons, the Ternoise is crossed; the trail then runs alongside the railway line.

Nature

The Les Vallons route runs between Blangy-sur-Ternoise and Blingel along hilly paths and offers varied landscapes with flora typical of chalk soils, including orchids.

Culture and History

Saint-Martin Church is depicted in a gouache from the albums of Charles de Croÿ dating from the beginning of the 17th century and was rebuilt in the second half of the 18th century. The present-day church is built entirely of chalkstone and consists of a nave, a slightly narrower and higher choir, and a three-sided apse. It also preserves the remains of a door that may date from the 16th century. The restoration work mainly concerned the masonry, the roof structure, and the roofing; a panelled vault was also restored.

The Haras de Blingel comprised 60 stalls, a training track, and a breeding station. The property was sold in 2010 and converted into equestrian holiday accommodations with a pool and reception room; horses continued to be present there.

The Sainte-Emme Chapel is located at the entrance to Blangy-sur-Ternoise on Rue d'Hesdin, between Blingel and Blangy-sur-Ternoise, and was built in 1885.
