Beuvry: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Beuvry can be discovered through specific sites, natural areas and recurring events. At the Domaine de Bellenville, a wetland of great importance to wetland-dependent flora and fauna is combined with the one-kilometre-long Garde-Fontaine path, which is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Le Sentier des Marais also offers a detour to an observatory.

Culture and history

The Cimetière militaire de Gorre is a British and Indian military cemetery from the First World War and serves as the final resting place for 938 soldiers of various nationalities. Another historic site is Moulin Buret: the year 1811 is inscribed on the building, and it was also added to the inventory of historic monuments on 1 July 1987.

On the gable of the Chapelle des Gosse de Gorre is a Pietà created by E. Faubon as a high relief. Parc Quinty is home to three statues embodying the Charitables' motto: “Accuracy, unity and charity”.

Events and activities

The Prozession à Naviaux takes place every September in Parc Quinty. At the end of September, the Ducasse “du Ballon” follows, preserving the memory of a historic balloon flight. Archery is offered at the Base nautique de Beuvry.
