The Pâture à Mille Trous nature reserve offers a viewpoint over the Authie Valley. Its plateau is characterised by dozens of hollows and elevations created by chalk extraction for lime kilns.

Getting around
In Auxi-le-Château, you can walk from Pont Rouge along an approximately 2 km developed section beside the Authie. The various local circular trails start at the de l'Authie car park.

Culture and history
The centre of Auxi-le-Château is classified as a Site Patrimonial Remarquable. In this historic setting stands the Saint Martin church, which has been classified as a Monument historique since 1910.
The Saint Martin church was rebuilt in the 16th century in the Flamboyant Gothic style and is open to the public.
The church's furnishings include the listed organ by Adrien Charpentier, dating from 1737. It can be viewed during concerts and on the European Heritage Days.
The Museum of Folk Arts and Traditions in Auxi-le-Château has a small parsonage garden with flowers, medicinal plants and fruit bushes.
Auxi-le-Château railway station is the only station on the line that has retained its original appearance.
