Trévien: Holiday Apartments and Houses

At Château de Trévien, the façades and roofs, the spiral staircase, and the painted ceiling of the room on the second floor have been protected as historic monument elements by decree of 25 January 1980.

Culture

The small Saint-Laurent de Trévien church is located on the high plateaus of Trévien; the Saint-Laurent church stands next to Château de Trévien. Another church is located in the hamlet of Saint-Pierre de Gil, while a dolmen can be found in the hamlet of Nougayrol.

Movable cultural heritage is also among the site's traditional features: an incense burner from Saint-Pierre de Gil was registered as movable cultural heritage on 19 February 1992. The oil painting “Saint Laurent sur le gril” located in the Saint-Laurent church in Trévien was registered as movable cultural heritage on 9 January 1990.

Nature

The municipality has decided to maintain six hiking trails. In the area around Trévien, there is also a partly shaded hiking trail of approximately 7 km that runs around Lac de la Roucarié.

Activities

At the dam, Trévien borders Lac de la Roucarié. In the area around Trévien, the Base nautique du Lac de la Roucarié offers canoes, stand-up paddleboards, and catamarans for full-day or half-day rental.

In Trévien, an association enables families to get to know ponies and a female donkey in a natural setting; various events are held for this purpose.
