Culture and history
The Château de Piquecos was built between 1439 and 1510 on the site of an older fortress and was largely rebuilt between 1519 and 1539. The château is partially protected as a historic monument: it was listed in 1945, while the murals in its chapel were placed under protection in 1951. The chapel preserves 15th-century murals depicting the twelve Sibyls.
The Église Saint-Félix is a brick building and has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 1991. Its interior was designed in 1888 by Louis Cazottes and Jean Capayrou. The Église Saint-Félix de Piquecos is mentioned as early as around 1100 and was probably rebuilt between the late 14th and early 16th centuries.
The Piquecos viewpoint is a cultural stop on the “Ronde des poètes occitans”, a walking tour promoting Quercy poetry.

Nature and activities
The Gué de Piquecos crosses the Aveyron in a protected natural landscape. The ford, or floodable roadway, is accessible on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

A food market takes place in Piquecos throughout the year on the second Friday of every month.

The Musée Ingres Bourdelle, the Abbaye de la Garde-Dieu, the Monument à Ingres, and the Abbaye de Saint-Marcel are located in the vicinity of Piquecos.
