Culture and history
At the Church of Saint-Michel, now Saint-Laurent, the apse and most of the nave may date from the late 12th or early 13th century. The northern portal of the Church of Saint-Michel, now Saint-Laurent, is a work from the second half of the 16th century. The church site was already inhabited in antiquity.
The Château d’Anglars is almost entirely modelled on the Château de Cousserans in the municipality of Bélaye. It has a tall, elongated main building with rounded corners made of regularly layered rubble stone, a round stair tower in the northwest and a square tower with rounded corners in the southeast.

Wine
The Ferme Départementale d’Anglars-Juillac welcomes the public for wine tastings and sales; groups are welcomed by appointment. It is a national conservatory for the Cot or Malbec grape variety, locally known as Auxerrois. The Ferme Départementale d’Anglars-Juillac also produces the wine Le Château d’Anglars, which has the protected designation of origin AOP Cahors.
